We're hiring

Come Build the Future of
Open Source Support

DepKeep is a small, technical team with a big mission. We're looking for engineers and open source enthusiasts who want to do meaningful work — not ticket farming.

A Place for Engineers
Who Care About the Craft

We're not a consultancy and we're not a vendor. We're a team of engineers who genuinely love open source and want to make it sustainable for everyone.

Deep Technical Work

You'll work directly on open source projects, not internal tooling. Patches land upstream. Your name goes in the commit log.

Small Team, High Ownership

We're early. You'll have real influence over how we work, what we build, and the culture we create.

Remote-First

Work from anywhere. We care about output, not office hours. Async-friendly processes and a team that respects your time.

Competitive Compensation

Salary benchmarked to market, equity from day one, and a hardware budget to set yourself up properly.

We Don't Always Have
a Job Listing for You

We hire slowly and deliberately. If you don't see an exact match below, reach out anyway — we keep a shortlist of people we want to work with when the right role opens up.

Open Source Support Engineer

Own customer relationships and technical escalations for a portfolio of open source packages. You'll diagnose hard bugs, backport security fixes, and work with upstream maintainers to land changes properly.

  • Deep experience with Linux systems
  • Prior open source contributions
  • Comfortable with C, Java, Python, or Go
  • Strong written communication

  • Familiarity with OSS security advisories
  • Able to read and write patch diffs
  • Bonus: CVD or bug bounty background

Don't See Your Role?

We're always interested in hearing from strong engineers, even when we're not actively hiring. Send us a note about who you are and what you care about.
